This Deal of the Day Showed Me the Light
I woke up in complete darkness. I couldn’t be sure if I had even been sleeping but regardless, everything around me was devoid of color. I waved my hands in front of my face in a futile attempt to get my bearings; it was of no use, my vision had been rendered useless. Only then did I realize I had bought a key item from a deal a day website.
Today's daily steal
Excited, I rummaged through the blackness to reach my Skil 48 LED Utility Light. Due to my inability to see anything at all, I tripped and cut my face on a loose piece of scrap metal … don’t ask why that was there. The cut stung a bit, but all in all it wasn’t that bad and I continued my gallant search for the utility light.
Finally I reached it and felt around for the on button. Pressing it, I could finally see. Unfortunately, however, I was holding it directly in front of my face, the power of 48 super bright LED lights drilled into my retinas like a thousand needles. I’d looked directly into it before, sure, but with my eyes adjusted to the total blackout, the end result wasn’t pretty. Immediately I fell to the ground, dropping the utility light in the process.
“Why must you be so effective at lighting?” I yelled to the device, knowing full well it was not going to respond. “And how did I get you at such a great price? I know the deal of the day site I bought you from was good, but how could they be this good?”
